Are there easy-care plants for first-time plant parents?

Absolutely. You’ll find plenty of beginner-friendly options for different light levels, including golden pothos, zz plants, snake plants, and spider plants. Stop in and you’ll get help choosing the right plant for your space, plus a simple care rundown to help it thrive.

Do you allow pets in-store?

Yes we do! We are a pet friendly community. You're welcome to bring your furry friends with you as you shop around.

Will you ever have ___ in stock? What rare plants do you have?

We might! Unlike most plant boutiques, we go out and hand-pick all of our plants every week. Plant availability changes each week depending on what looks healthy, what’s available at the nursery, and what we can get our hands on! We can’t guarantee that anything will be restocked regularly. The best way to see if something is in stock is to visit us in-store or contact us directly.

Although, if there is a special plant you are interested in, let us know! We will do our best to source it for you! We require a deposit for special orders.

Do you do holds?

We require a small deposit to hold common houseplants and for special orders. Special orders must be put in advance.

Unfortunately, we do not offer holds on rare plants. They are only available on a first come, first serve basis.

Why are your prices different from big box stores?

As a small, independent boutique, we hand-pick our plants in smaller quantities, so our costs are different from big box stores. You’re also getting a curated selection, a more personal shopping experience, and a team that pays employees above minimum wage. We appreciate you supporting a local San Jose business and the care behind it. 🌿

What should you know about returns at PLANTLUSH?

All sales are final, so you can’t return purchases. If your plant has a quality issue, contact us and you’ll get help with care and troubleshooting. We want you to feel confident and supported after you leave the shop.

Pricing depends on your workshop choice and group size. Share a few details through the private events form, and you’ll receive a quote as soon as possible. That helps you plan a gathering that fits your group and your budget.
