Plantlush is a small, vibrant botanical boutique nestled in the heart of Willow Glen, specialized in curating a wide variety of indoor tropical and desert plants, each hand-selected for its beauty and quality.

 

At Plantlush's core, we believe plants should be experienced, not just purchased. We place a strong emphasis on genuine connection, getting to know people from all walks of life, and creating an inspiring environment where every guest feels at home.

From the beginning, Plantlush has been a woman-owned business, built on hard work and resilience, with a commitment to creating a safe and welcoming space for everyone who walks through our doors.

Plantlush began in downtown San Jose in 2020. Under its previous ownership, I first joined the shop as a volunteer, motivated by the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of running a small business so I could one day open a shop of my own. My entrepreneurial spirit guided me from the very beginning, inspiring me to grow my skills, confidence, and vision.

 

As I connected with customers, listened to their stories, and watched the shop bring people together, I realized my heart wasn’t just set on owning a plant store. It was set on building a place where people could feel seen. When the opportunity arose to take over Plantlush, I knew it was meant to be. Stepping into ownership, I transformed that early passion into action and never looked back.

 

Though there have been many challenges, our community helped me keep Plantlush alive and grow stronger than ever. I couldn’t be more thankful for everyone who supports us. Today, in our Willow Glen home, we continue to share our love of greenery, creativity, and connection, hoping to create moments and memories that last.
